3 tbsp. self-rising flour
2 tbsp. cornmeal
1 sm. chopped onion
1 egg
Milk and water enough to wet dough
Enough oil to deep fry hush puppies

Mix all together. Makes a heavy dough. Drop by teaspoons into hot fat until brown.
