1/2 c. (or 1 stick) butter
3 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4-6 tbsp. whipping cream
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Mix butter, gradually adding sugar, then salt, vanilla and cream; beat until thick.
