1/2 c. shortening
1 c. light brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs, well beaten
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. raisins

Cream shortening, sugars and vanilla. Add the beaten eggs, then the flour, soda and salt. Mix well; add chips, nuts and raisins. Drop by level tablespoonsfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 400 degrees from 12 to 15 minutes.
