ORANGE PUMPKIN BREAD | |
2/3 c. Crisco 2 2/3 c. sugar 1 orange 2/3 c. water 4 eggs 1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin 2/3 c. nuts 2/3 c. raisins 3 1/2 c. flour 2 tsp. baking soda 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cinnamon 1 tsp. cloves 1/2 tsp. baking powder Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly. Cut orange in wedges; remove seeds. Put in blender with water and puree. Add to creamed mixture with eggs and pumpkin; mix well. Sift dry ingredients and add to pumpkin mixture. Add nuts and raisins. Pour into 2 (9x5x3) loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. |
