SCALLOPED OYSTERS 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. cracker crumbs
1/2 c. crumbled day-old bread
1 pt. oysters
6 tbsp. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper

Melt butter, stir in crumbs. Place half of crumbs in the bottom of a greased baking dish. Spread with oysters. Season with salt and pepper. Top with remaining crumbs. Sprinkle cream on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
