GOBS 
2 c. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
2 eggs
4 c. flour
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sour milk
1 c. boiling water

Cream together sugar, shortening and eggs. Add remaining ingredients. You may have to use 1 cup more flour. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.

FILLING:

1/2 c. Crisco (solid)
1/2 c. butter
1 box powdered sugar
4 tbsp. flour
4 tbsp. milk
2 tsp. vanilla

Cream together Crisco, butter and powdered sugar. Add remaining ingredients and cream well. Put icing between and on top of the chocolate cookies.
