PLUM CAKE 
2 c. sugar
1 c. oil
1 c. buttermilk (or 1 c. milk plus 1 tsp. lemon juice)
1 jar (junior size) baby food plums and tapioca
3 eggs, unbeaten
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 c. nuts, chopped

Grease and flour a bundt or small tube pan. Combine the first 5 ingredients. Sift dry ingredients and add. Fold in nuts and pour into pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 60 minutes or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Turn onto rack.
