PEANUTTY CRUNCH BARS 
BASE:

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mis
1 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 egg

TOPPING:

1/4 c. rolled oats
1/4 c. chopped peanuts
2 tbsp. butter

FILLING:

1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9 x 13 inch pan. In large bowl, combine cake mix, oats, brown sugar, and butter at a low speed until crumbly. Reserve 1 cup mix; set aside. To remaining crumbs add 1/2 cup peanut butter and 1 egg; mix at low speed. Press in prepared pan. In same bowl, combine reserved crumb mix and topping ingredients at low speed till crumbly; set aside. In small bowl, combine filling ingredients at medium speed until smooth and creamy. Spoon over base; spread evenly. Sprinkle with topping. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes. Makes 48 bars.
