BEEF STROGANOFF 
1 lb. sirloin or round steak, cut into strips
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 c. minced onion
1 lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream

Shake meat in a paper bag with flour, salt, and pepper. Brown it in butter. Add garlic powder, onion, and sliced mushrooms. Saute until golden. Stir in soup undiluted and simmer gently (15 minutes or so). Just before serving, add sour cream and warm through (don't boil or sour cream will separate.) Serve with noodles or rice.
