ALMOND PUFF PASTRY 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
2 tbsp. water
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flour
3 eggs

Cut 1 stick butter into 1 cup of flour. Add 2 tablespoons water. Stir to form a ball. Spread into large oval on cookie sheet. Boil 1 cup water with 1 stick butter together in large pan. Add almond flavoring and flour all at once. Beat in one egg at a time until smooth. Spread on first flour mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Frost with white icing flavored with almond. Decorate with almonds and cherries.
