NO BAKE COOKIES 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/4 c. shortening or butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. crunchy peanut butter
2 1/4 c. quick oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine the first four ingredients in sauce pan and bring to a rolling boil. Remove from heat and add the last three ingredients. Whip well and drop by teaspoon on waxed paper lined cookie sheet. Ready to eat when cool. Yield 4 dozen.
