MEAT BALLS 
1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg, slightly beaten
Grated peel & juice of 1/2 lemon
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 tsp. dried basil leaves, crushed
1 tsp. poultry seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper

SAUCE:

1 jar (12 oz.) chili sauce
1 jar (10 oz.) apple, grape or other jelly
1 tsp. hot sauce
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes

In a large bowl combine all meat ball ingredients. Heat in small amount of oil. Remove from pan. Pour off fat. In same pan heat sauce ingredients until jelly melts. Return meat balls to pan. Stir and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
