HOT FRUIT COMPOTE 
1 can Bing cherries
1 can peach halves
1 can apricot halves
Vanilla wafers
1/2 c. Chablis
1 stick butter
1/4 tsp. curry
1/2 c. brown sugar
Slivered almonds

Line 3/4 package of vanilla wafers on bottom of glass bowl. On top of stove, melt butter, add sugar, curry and wine. Drain fruit and discard liquid. Put fruit on top of wafers, cherries first. Add wine mixture on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes.
