1 1/2 c. Crisco, butter
2 c. brown sugar

Cream together. 2 c. flour with 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

You can add nuts before you roll in a roll. Make into rolls like sausage and put in refrigerator until they can be sliced (they can be frozen before baking). Put on cookie sheet well greased. Bake at 350 degrees. Cinnamon, allspice, cloves can be used instead of flavoring.
