BROWN SUGAR COOKIES | |
2 c. brown sugar 2 c. self-rising flour 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted 2 eggs 2 tsp. cinnamon Pour hot butter on brown sugar and mix well. Add eggs and beat well. Mix flour and cinnamon together. Add gradually to sugar and butter mixture. Dough will be very stiff. Cover pans with wax paper. Use teaspoon to scoop up cookie mix and knife to scrape mix from spoon. Use only small amount of mix to make each cookie. Bake until lightly brown, about 9 minutes at 350 degrees. Chopped pecans may be added to dough. When remove cookies from oven, slip cookies and wax paper from pan onto towel to cool. Cookies must be completely cooled to remove from wax paper. |
