1 c. white sugar
3 c. flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cream of tartar
Flavor
1 c. butter
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

Form in balls and press with fork. Chocolate chips and nut meats may be added. Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown.
