MY AUNT ALICE'S SHERRY CAKE 
1 pkg. white cake mix
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
4 eggs
3/4 c. vegetable oil
2/3 c. dry sherry
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/3 c. sherry
2 tbsp. melted butter

In a large bowl put the first 6 ingredients. Pour into a greased and floured tube pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50-60 minutes. Remove from pan while hot. Poke lots of holes in the top with a long tined fork.

Mix the confectioners' sugar, 2/3 cup sherry and melted butter together. Pour over the hot cake and rub into sides. Wrap in foil. Will keep 3-4 weeks in the refrigerator.
