CREAMY VEGETABLE DIP 
3 egg yolks
3 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 lb. cream cheese
2 tbsp. minced onion
2 tbsp. minced green peppers

Combine first five ingredients and cook over low heat until thick, stirring constantly. Add cream cheese, beating it into the mixture while hot. Allow to cool, then add the minced onions and peppers. Serve with raw vegetables.
