GLORIFIED CARROTS 
2 lb. fresh carrots, sliced diagonally
1 sm. onion, chopped
Sugar and salt to taste
1 stick butter
1/2 lb. Velveeta cheese
Crushed potato chips

Cook carrots, onion, sugar and salt in small amount of water until crisp tender. Drain and place in 8 x 11-inch baking dish. Cut stick of butter on top of carrots and chunk Velveeta cheese on top of butter. Crush potato chips over all. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Even if you don't like carrots, try this one. It may be a favorite!
