16 c. flour
6 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. shortening
4 tsp. baking soda
1 c. dark baking molasses
1 c. warm water
5 eggs
1 tsp. salt

Mix all ingredients except 2 egg whites. Drop by spoonsful onto cookie sheet. Lightly whip 2 remaining egg whites. Brush over top of cookies before baking. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
