SOUR CREAM MUFFINS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
4 well beaten eggs
1 1/2 c. cultured sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
2 3/4 c. flour

Mix butter, sugar and salt until light. Add eggs, sour cream, soda and flour. Mix thoroughly. Pour into buttered muffin tins. Sprinkle with nutmeg and sugar topping. I also add cinnamon and finely chopped nuts to the nutmeg-sugar mixture (topping). Bake in hot oven at 450 degrees about 15 minutes.
