DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BROWNIE COOKIES
3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. butter
3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. water
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate morsels, divided
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts, if desired

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In small bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.

In small saucepan, combine butter, sugar and water. Bring just to a boil. Add 6 ounce (1 cup) Nestle semi-sweet chocolate morsels and vanilla extract. Stir until morsels melt and mixture is smooth.

Transfer to large bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in remaining 1 cup chocolate morsels and nuts (if desired). Spread into a long baking tin (15x9). Bake for 20 minutes at 325 degrees. If you prefer brownies, spread into a greased 9 inch square baking pan; bake for 30- 35 minutes at 325 degrees.
