PASTRY FOR FRIED PIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix until it's like coarse meal. Add 1 small can milk and mix until it can be handled well. Roll out into fried pies. Add fruit, fold over and seal. Fry in deep hot fat until golden brown on each side.
