BEEF UP BISCUIT CASSEROLE | |
1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onions 1/4 c. green pepper 1 c. (8 oz. can) tomato sauce 2 tsp. chili powder 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or salt) 1 can buttermilk biscuits (flaky) 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese 1/2 c. sour cream Brown beef, onions, and pepper. Drain; stir in tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic, and sour cream. Simmer. Put in casserole dish with biscuits on top. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes. (Pull biscuits apart or they will be too thick.) |
