2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 (19 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained

Mix together cake ingredients in large bowl with wooden spoon. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Make 1 or 2 days before serving, then spread on icing.

ICING VARIATION:

1 pkg. Dream Whip or 2 c. Cool Whip
1 pkg. vanilla pudding
1 1/2 c. cold milk

Beat Dream Whip, vanilla pudding and milk until thick.

ICING VARIATION:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
2 c. icing sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream together crream cheese and butter. Add icing sugar and vanilla. Beat until creamy.
