NOCKI (NOCHKI) 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. quick cream of wheat or farina
1/2 tbsp. butter
3 eggs
Salt & pepper to taste
3/4-1 c. milk

Mix together thoroughly. Bring water to boil in large kettle. When boiling dip a teaspoon in water and then break off pieces of dough into the water with tip of spoon. Stir so they don't stick on the bottom. Boil 20-25 minutes. Drain in colander. Put into soup. Can also be used in a stew or with gravy instead of potatoes.

My great grandmother was from Czechoslovakia and this is an old country recipe that my mom always makes me when I am sick. she made it for me today in chicken noodle soup delicious! They go so well together. It takes a while to profect though they often fall apart. Never cook with a lid or turn up too high. My perfected the whole "fork method" by mooshing the mix then gentle dropping in soup.
