1 c. flour 3/4 c. quick cream of wheat or farina 1/2 tbsp. butter 3 eggs Salt & pepper to taste 3/4-1 c. milk Mix together thoroughly. Bring water to boil in large kettle. When boiling dip a teaspoon in water and then break off pieces of dough into the water with tip of spoon. Stir so they don't stick on the bottom. Boil 20-25 minutes. Drain in colander. Put into soup. Can also be used in a stew or with gravy instead of potatoes. |
