ICEBOX OATMEAL COOKIES 
1 c. butter
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. quick oatmeal
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts

Mix butter, white and brown sugars, and eggs. Beat until creamy. Add flour, baking soda and salt. Mix until smooth. Add oatmeal, vanilla and nuts. Mix all together well. Divide dough into 4 rolls. Put in foil and refrigerate until chilled. Slice roll 1/4 inch or thinner. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.
