1/2 BUSHEL SOFT MOLASSES COOKIES 
2 eggs
2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
2 c. melted lard
2 c. molasses
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. ginger
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. nutmeg

Mix together and add enough flour as needed to make a cookie dough that will roll out nicely. Makes 1/2 bushel extra good cookies and keeps well.
