BAVARIAN MEAT LOAF 
1 1/2 lbs. lean ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1/2 c. pumpernickel bread crumbs
1/2 c. crushed gingersnaps
2 eggs
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
1 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
2 tsp. salt

GLAZE:

1/4 c. brown sugar (or maple syrup)
3 tbsp. cider vinegar
3 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. prepared mustard

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except those for Glaze; mix well. Pack mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan. Combine all of the Glaze ingredients into a small bowl. Spoon glaze over the top of the meat loaf. Bake for 1 hour. Transfer to platter and serve.
