PIE DOUGH 
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
1 3/4 cups shortening
1 egg
juice from 1 lemon
water

Combine dry ingredients. Cut in shortening. Mix egg and lemon juice and add enough water to make 3/4 cup. Add egg mixture to flour and shortening. Mix until well blended.

Refrigerate at least 1 1/2 hours. Stays well in refrigerator for several days.

Note: May divide dough and freeze.
