CHICKEN TACO FILLING | |
4 chicken breasts 1 med. onion, chopped 3/4 c. tomatoes, fresh, chopped 2 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. garlic salt 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1/4 c. picante sauce Taco shells Cheese, grated Lettuce, shredded Boil or microwave chicken and shred into small pieces. Reserve 1/4 cup of the broth. Saute onion. Add chicken, tomatoes, cumin, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Cover and simmer 5 minutes. Add broth and picante sauce. Simmer uncovered 15 minutes. Fill shells. Add cheese, lettuce, and extra salsa if desired. |
