TOFFEE BROWNIES 
CRUST:

3/4 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg yolk
3/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. finely chopped pecans

FILLING:

1 pkg. Duncan Hines fudge brownie mix
1 egg
1/3 c. water
1/3 c. oil

TOPPING:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 inch pan.

FOR CRUST: Combine butter, brown sugar, egg yolk and vanilla extract in large bowl. Stir in flour. Spread in pan. Bake 15 minutes or until golden.

FOR FILLING: Prepare brownie mix following package directions. Spread over hot crust. bake 15 minutes or until surface appears set. Cool 30 minutes.

FOR TOPPING: Spread melted chocolate on top of brownie layer; garnish with pecans. Cool completely.
