FRESH APPLE CAKE 
1 1/2 c. oil
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. chopped raw apples
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. powdered sugar

Mix in large bowl the oil, baking powder, sugar, vanilla, eggs, flour, salt, baking soda, pecans, and apples. Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan.

Bake for 1 hour at 325°F. To prepare icing, combine butter, milk, brown sugar and powdered sugar in a saucepan and cook for 1 minute. Pour over cake.
