MATTIE'S SOUP 
1 stick butter
1 c. flour
1/2 gal. hot water
1 1/2 to 2 lbs. hamburger
1 c. carrots
1 c. celery
1 c. onion
1 sm. can tomato juice
1 pkg. frozen vegetables (or 1 can corn, peas & 1 box of lima beans)
1 lg. can tomatoes
1 tbsp. Accent
2 tbsp. beef bouillon

Melt butter. Whip in flour. Make paste. Stir in water. In skillet, brown hamburger. Drain grease. Add to flour/water mixture. Parboil onions, carrots and celery. Cook about 10 minutes. Add to soup mixture. Add 1 package frozen vegetable mix (or use 1 can corn, peas and 1 box of lima beans). Add 1 large can of tomatoes cut in little pieces. Add 1 tablespoon Accent, beef bouillon and pepper. Add tomato juice. Bring to a boil. Simmer until vegetables are cooked.
