RICE PILAF 
1/2 cube butter
Vermicelli noodles
Long grain rice
Chicken bouillon
Salt

Melt about 1/2 cube of butter in a saucepan. Add 1 swirl of vermicelli noodles and fry to medium brown. Add 1 cup of rice (long grain, uncooked). Mix thoroughly. Add 2 cups boiling water and 2 chicken bouillon cubes. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Cover and simmer on low about 20 minutes until all liquid is gone and rice is tender. You can add mushrooms, sliced nuts, celery, onions, etc. as desired.
