CHOCOLATE BREAD PUDDING 
1 c. dry bread cubes, crumbs
1 sq. melted baking chocolate
2 c. scalded milk
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 beaten egg

Mix crumbs with chocolate and add scalded milk, stir over heat until chocolate is melted, add butter, cool. Pour into well buttered 6 cup casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Serve warm or cooled with Cool Whip or ice cream. I scald the milk in the microwave, add chocolate, bread crumbs, butter, sugar, vanilla and 1/4 cup of egg beaters (egg substitute), mix well and then bake.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
