MAMMAW'S FAVORITE CHOCOLATE
CANDY
 
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. evaporated milk
2 heaping tsp. chocolate
1/4 stick butter (equals 2 tbsp.)
10 lg. marshmallows
3 c. pecans
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook first 4 ingredients over low heat until soft ball stage. Add next 2 ingredients and stir until marshmallows are melted. Take off heat. Add pecans and vanilla. Stir until it begins to stiffen. Spoon out on a greased surface or wax paper and let cool.
