CHOCOLATE - ALMOND CHEESECAKE 
1 1/2 c. crushed chocolate wafers
1 c. finely chopped almonds, toasted
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
4 eggs
1/3 c. whipping cream
1/3 c. creme d'almond (or Amaretto)
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sour cream
2 tsp. sugar

Combine wafers, almonds, butter, and 1/3 cup sugar. Press into 9 inch spring- form pan. In mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add cream, creme d'almond, and 1 teaspoon vanilla; beat until smooth. Pour into pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Combine sour cream and 2 teaspoons sugar and remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over cake and bake 5 minutes longer. Cool, cover, and chill overnight.
