OVERNIGHT GREEN SALAD 
1 sm. head ice berg lettuce
1/2 c. finely chopped celery
1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped red pepper
1/2 c. finely chopped red onion
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas, thawed
1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. Ranch dressing
2 tbsp. sugar
4 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
8 slices crisp bacon, crumbled

Note: You may use less salad dressing than the recipe suggests. Both mayonnaise and Ranch dressing may be the "Lite" varieties. Season salt, garlic salt, paprika or pepper may be added to the salad dressing for additional flavor.

Wash lettuce; drain thoroughly. Break lettuce into bite-size pieces and lay on bottom of a 9 x 13 inch glass pyrex dish. Sprinkle lettuce with chopped celery, peppers and onions. Do not cook peas. Layer over ingredients.
