LYONNAISE GREEN OR WAXED BEANS 
1 c. onions, sliced
1/8 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
Beans, green or waxed, frozen (1 1/2 lb.)
Water, boiling
1/2 tsp. salt
Pinch of pepper

Saute onions in butter until tender. Add beans to salted water. Bring to a boil; cover, simmer 10 minutes or until beans are tender. Drain; reserve 1 quart liquid. Combine onions, beans, bean liquid, salt, and pepper. Mix lightly; serve.
