PINTO BEANS A LA FRANK 
2 c. pinto beans
4 c. water
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1/2 lb. bacon
1 tsp. salt

Heat water and beans to boiling in Dutch oven. Add salt, cover and simmer until beans are tender about 3 hours.

Half time through cooking, fry bacon, onions and tomatoes in separate pan. Add to beans during last hour of cooking.
