PINTO BEANS 
2 lb. bag pinto beans, water to cover
1/2 lb. bacon
1 large onion, chopped
1 bunch cilantro
2 Tbsps. cumin
Salt to taste
1 Tbsp. chili powder

Soak beans overnight. Brown bacon, add onion and saute until tender; add beans and cover with water. Add the rest of the ingredients and cook until beans are tender, about 2 hours.
