PINTO BEANS 
4 to 5 c. dry pinto beans
Water to cover beans
1 to 2 tbsp. vinegar

In a large pot, combine above ingredients and boil for 5 minutes. Drain the water and refill with fresh water and more vinegar. Let beans soak on stove for about 1 hour (no heat). After beans have soaked and expanded, drain beans again and refill with fresh water.

Add to beans: 1 clove garlic, minced 2 tbsp. onion powder 1 tbsp. garlic powder 1/4 c. chili salsa 1 chunk fresh ginger

Cook beans, adding water when needed, for about 4 to 5 hours.
