PLANTATION CASSEROLE 
2 c. chopped, cooked chicken (ham or beef)
1 c. cooked peas, drained
1 (17 oz.) can cream style corn
1/4 lb. American cheese, cubed
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. evaporated milk, divided
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. biscuit mix
1/2 c. cornmeal
2 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg, beaten

Combine meat, peas, corn, cheese, onion, 1/2 cup milk, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour into a greased 8 inch square baking dish and bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients with the 1/2 cup milk. Pour batter around edges of meat mixture, leaving center uncovered. Bake 20 minutes longer. Makes 6 servings.
