CLASSIC CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. (3 1/2 oz.) instant vanilla pudding
2 eggs
1 pkg. (12 oz.) semi sweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine flour and soda and set aside. Combine butter, sugars, vanilla and pudding. Beat until creamy in large mixing bowl. Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts (batter will be stiff). Drop by heaping teaspoon about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 9 to 9 1/2 minutes or until golden brown.
