FREEZER COLE SLAW | |
1 med. head cabbage, chopped 1 tsp. salt 3 stalks celery, chopped 1/2 green pepper 1 sm. onion 1 carrot, chopped or grated DRESSING: 1/2 c. water 1 c. white vinegar 2 c. white sugar 1 tsp. celery seed 1 tsp. mustard seed Dressing: Boil 1 minute and let cool. Mix salt with cabbage and let stand for 1 hour or more. Drain and pour the cooled dressing over. Mix well and freeze. |
