CHOCOLATE ALMOND THINS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sifted all purpose flour
1 (8 oz.) bar Hershey milk chocolate
3/4 c. roasted, diced almonds

Cream together butter, and both sugars. Beat in egg yolk and vanilla. Stir in flour, spread in 9"x13" pan and bake at 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. Grate chocolate and spread on top of hot cookie. Sprinkle with almonds and press lightly into chocolate. Cut while still warm into squares, but do not remove from pan until cold.
