BLUEBERRY CHUTNEY 
1 1/2 pts. (about 3 c.) fresh blueberries, sorted & washed, or frozen blueberries without sugar
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 tbsp. grated fresh gingerroot
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. cider vinegar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 (3 inch) cinnamon stick

In large saucepan, combine all ingredients. Bring mixture to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Boil 1 minute. Remove cinnamon stick, Cool. Cover, refrigerate. Serve as a condiment with meats and cheeses (2 cups).

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS: Combine all ingredients in 8-cup microwave-safe measuring cup. Microwave on HIGH for 12 to 15 minutes or until mixture boils and is slightly thickened, stirring twice during cooking. Remove cinnamon stick. Cool. Cover, refrigerate. Serve as a condiment with meats and cheese.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
