MOM'S OLD FASHIONED DUMPLINGS' 
2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. shortening
3/4 c. water

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Add 2 tablespoons shortening. Work as biscuit dough by adding water. Spoon out dumplings on cooked stewed meat. Boil 20 minutes.
