LIVER AND ONIONS 
4 tsp. butter
3 lg. onions
1 tsp. salt
6-8 slices liver
1/2 c. flour

Melt butter in large frying pan. Peel and slice onion into pan. Sprinkle salt over liver and then roll in flour. Place over top of onions (don't let liver touch pan). Cover and fry for 15-20 minutes. Turn liver over. You can turn onions also but keep liver on top of onions. When liver touches pan it gets tough. Fry another 10 minutes or until tender. Keep covered.
